Reviews and Ratings
My stay at the hotel was a bit challenging due to the room lacking a window and having the loudest A/C unit I've ever encountered, making it tough to sleep in August. However, the room was furnished with beautiful Victorian furniture, creating a cozy but slightly dim atmosphere. The service was top-notch, with friendly and helpful staff who made me feel like I was staying in a family home. The location was excellent, allowing easy access to explore Charlottetown on foot, although I felt that it could offer more for the price charged. The communal dining experience was a pleasant one, allowing for interactions with other guests and offering good reading light. The facilities were well-maintained and added to the overall positive experience.
I had a lovely stay at the hotel. The spacious King Suite with a Spa bath on the third floor was perfect for our four-night stay. The rooms were beautifully appointed with tea/coffee making facilities and a small fridge, and the large bathtub was a luxurious touch. Despite some discomfort with non-White American guests and a slightly snobby attitude from the staff, the service was friendly overall. The location was ideal for exploring Charlottetown, being within walking distance of all activities. The breakfast, served in a charming Victorian-style dining room, was a delightful experience with a variety of options. The facilities were well-maintained and added to the overall enjoyment of my stay.
The hotel had rooms with no windows and a very loud A/C unit making sleep difficult in August. Interacting with other guests, the room I got was not the one I had reserved online. The service was friendly and helpful, except for some discomfort with non-white American guests. The location was very convenient, close to shops, sites, and restaurants, furnished in Victorian style. Dining was disappointing with limited options.
